The Christmas Tour

Yum, huh?
So yeah. It's looking a lot like Christmas at Freeman House this weekend. Two Christmas trees are up and being decorated. Decking the halls has begun at Freeman House. It's all glitter and glass and tangled lights over here.

Why so early? Glad you asked. The second weekend in December brings the first Christmas Tour at Freeman House. I'm happily excited! Four rooms will be opened and decked out, and each will proudly present a signature henrybella's dessert for the tasting. There will also be a quick tour of the history of the house (given by me)... a little live piano and guitar caroling... a giveaway... and pictures with Millie, the Freeman House Christmas dog. (Ha ha.) It's going to beautiful. Tickets go on sale next week; mark your calendars.

And for those of you who won't be headed this way anytime soon, don't worry! The week before Christmas we'll be offering a virtual, online tour, complete with some of my favorite holiday recipes, my Christmas music playlist and some behind-the-scenes dish on this year's event. You won't want to miss it!

Details coming soon. Until then, I gotta go. Millie the Freeman House Christmas dog is already chewing on a pine cone wired onto the library's tree. Oh boy...

Brin, your self promotion - photography, layout, choice of colours and fabrics and typography ... is always so beautiful, very tasteful and so well done ! (for Freeman House, Etsy & Henribella's) and I'm thinking that you likely are doing it yourself.
Great job !!

cheers from far away Nova Scotia

Ohhh, hope that you'll have a little button so that we can advertise for the virtual tour on our sidebars. This sounds like great fun!

Enjoy the decorating and all the activities associated with pulling off what I think will be an amazing Christmas house tour. Wish that I lived in Texas!

Lovely! The only problem is that I wish I lived so close that I could see it in person. Looking forward to seeing pictures and the virtual tour. I am not quite ready to get out the trees, but will be very soon. Merry decorating!

Blessings,

Oh, I wish I could come but our special tour will be just as sweet, I can't wait! What a wonderful way to add cheer to the house and lift your spirits! Such a grand idea, only you could put together a event like this, such a great mind! Love the photos and I bet Millie will be cute as ever as FF Christmas Dog! Enjoy!

Brin,

As always, you leave me inspired and wanting to do more in the way of being creative and crafty.

I'm excited at the thought of your Christmas tour. Every year my mom and I go on a Christmas home tour of local houses in our town. I always look forward to delving into another's "Holiday Hideout".

Happy Decorating,
Cathy

I have to agree with the others...I wish I could be there, but I know I'll just love the virtual tour!

Do you make all the henrybella goodies at your home or do you have a separate kitchen? I would love to do this very thing, but our state requires a separate kitchen and I don't have that in the budget. :(
