The first strawberries of the season. They stained my hands with their sweetness.

We have a walk through of the house today at noon, and then a busy weekend ahead. I wanted to stop in, though, and wish you a happy Mother's Day. Even if you're a mother-in-waiting or a mother at heart. Have a sweet Sunday. We'll talk next week. Oh, will we ever talk! -Brin

a couple weeks back i bought some local grown strawberries, each one the size of my palm.. pure deliciousness. tonight after dinner i plan to cut some up, add a dollop of greek yogurt, sprinkling of almond slices, and a touch of real whipped cream on top then a drizzle of honey. mmmmm.

Yum. Those look homegrown. The strawberries I buy never seem to be as delicious as those I pick myself.
