Long Mountains and A Wood

It's dark today. Foggy. Woodsy. Misty. Mossy. A good day for pulling on tall socks, making soup thick with mushrooms and cream, and reading Edna St. Vincent Millay.

All I could see from where I stood/Was three long mountains and a wood....

Having stood in the spot where Edna wrote her poem, I am pleased with your choice of poet today. What wonderful photos! So you did find the camera? Misty, mysterious days are wonderful for reading and sipping tea and going for a walk with Milly. Did you ever read Blueberry Summer? Something about your post is reminding me of that childhood treasure.

Brin, if you have a recipe for your creamy mushroom soup, I would love for you to post it. I love a good mushroom soup but I don't know how to make it.
