Patchwork and Lavender

I'm a little late to the Valentine's craft party, since other things are weighing heavily on my little mind, but... hey... here I am! And look what I have to show you:

I have several patchworked things stuffed with organic lavender from the beautiful Purple Haze Lavender Farm in Washington's Dungeness Valley. It's all gone up today in the Freeman House Shop, ready to rush over to someone who could use a little pampering this weekend.

Which is probably all of us, I suspect.

And hey, if you're not at work or don't have a creepy co-worker trying to look at your computer screen right this second, click on that link to the lavender farm and view their webcam. Wow. It's like a vacation without leaving your computer.

I wish I were in the hills of that organic lavender farm right now, flat on my back and breathing it all in. Sigh. Oh how I wish I were...

I've been to your blog many times but don't think I have ever commented. But here I am.
I live in Washington and have been to Purple Haze many times. It is fabulous! In fact, I have lavender plants that I purchased from them some years ago. All doing well, by the way, even with being torn out and replanted because of underground electrical work!
I made a huge wreath with my lavender and it hangs in my bedroom. I have sweet dreams!
I wanted to encourage you to come to the Lavender Festival (In July)in Sequim and visit Purple Haze and all the other lavender farms. You won't be disappointed!

Ok Brin. I am going to give you your laugh of the day. I clicked on the Purple Haze site and viewed the webcam but all I saw was black. Then I realized. It is night.
Oh well, I will try again in the daytime.

Darling pillows! They would make such a nice gift for someone.

Hope you are hanging in there - been thinking about you! Keep us posted on the ups and downs of life!

I am going to have to bookmark that site because, oh, my, that is about the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Wow. It would be so cool to walk through that everyday and inhale that scent. I am totally all the other way across the country and all I want is to get on a plane and go there. Thanks for introducing us to Purple Haze.

Lavender is my all time favorite! I left many mature plants at the old house so now I must plant many more here! Love your patchwork too! Happy Heart Day Brin, you are a sweetheart!
