Quiet January Life

Make it your goal to live a quiet life,
minding your own business and working with your hands...
-1 Thessalonians 4:11

In keeping with the whole "quiet life" thing, the plan this weekend is to make soup, knit, read, look through seed catalogs for flowers to grow this spring, and stay warm. It's the best time of year to take things slow and steady, isn't it?

Have a warm and blessed weekend. -Brin

So sorry to hear your hubby is sick, hope that soup helps!

Thanks, Sue! Hope y'all are staying well up there...

LindaSonia- :) Yes! The yarn is a hand dyed and hand spun merino wool from a lady in my area. Her business is called Wound Up Fiber Arts. She used to have a website, but she must have taken it down/moved it... Try liking The Yarn Garden in Texarkana, Texas, on Facebook, or call them at 903-223-9276. She works there. :)... It is super gorgeous in person and a dream to work with!

I agree..such gorgeous yarn!
Soup, reading and knitting sounds like a fine way to spend the weekend. What are you knitting? I'm sure it will be a dream to wear.
Get well wishes to your hubby.

I love your blog. I have read it, off and on for years. I find it, devour it, lose it for months, then find it again. Thank you for your quiet words.
