Ya' know, this pictures do, indeed, embody summer for me...picking blackberries, chiggers and all! C

Your berries look wonderful! Cobbler? Ice cream (if so, strain the seeds out first; I didn't and it was rather chewy)?

Are they dewberries or blackberries? Our vines are full of ripe dewberries, but we won't get blackberries for a few weeks.

You ARE still here! Oh my gosh I am so excited. I'm going to stop what I'm doing (writing) and get caught up on your life. Forget the fact that my manuscript has to be done in a few months (and I'm only on chapter 9!)

Brin, while I totally get and respect your apparent desire to blog a bit less and keep things more private...I have to say that I miss your frequent updates and Monday Moments. Hope you're having a happy summer. :-)

Brin, I've followed your blog for quite a while and love it, but have never commented.
Now I am because I'm concerned....could you just let us know you're okay?
