Most Amazing Day

I thank you God for this most amazing day...
and for the blue dream of sky
and for everything which is natural,
which is infinite, which is yes.
-e. e. cummings

A most amazing day, glimpsed as I opened my eyes and peered out the old window beside my bed.

Blue dream of sky, glimpsed behind Freeman House while breathing in the expanse...

... and playing fetch with a lab made of chocolate...

...while lying in the natural grass. Cool on my back, sun on my face, sky in my eyes.

Yes.

I thank you God for this most amazing day.

These photos speak to me, a snowbound woman, who longs for GREEN GRASS and BLUE SKY! Oh well, you can come over to my blog and enjoy cold snowiness with me, if you'd like! Thanks for the post, I loved it!

Wow is it warm enough for you to lie on the grass right now? I thought it would be freezing where you are.

You are basking in the grass with sun on your face and I'm watching big fat lovely flakes falling from the sky! love it!

Living in the city with all the new buildings going up, I thank God everyday for seeing any sky at all. Love that picture of Milly with the sky beyond her and that grass looks sweet. xxoo

I know what you mean. I opened all the blinds and curtains today and let the sunshine pour in. It is so divine. Soak up the Vitamin D! The sunsets have been so gorgeous lately. Isn't God good like that?

Wish it had been so beautiful here today! How warm was it there in TX? I've got a case of the gloomy winter blues going today. Well, your post DID brighten my dreary day!

I *never* delete comments, especially well-meaning ones. I mean, rarely ever do I mess with comments. But I'm sorry, Susan, today I just had to knock yours off. Nothing personal... whatsoever... just didn't sit well with me or the tone of this blog post.

Really Brin? Call me naive but I didn't see anything wrong with Susan's post...was she not referring to Obama??Or maybe I am just clueless.....maybe it doesn't help I am not American or Canadian...maybe I have missed something???

Yup, really. Sorry. My blog. And this blog post was about MY amazing day on Monday. It was not a political statement and was not intended for political posturing. You're all more than welcome to make political statements on your own blogs!
