Long Week, Lovely Things

A fruitless job search in the city, an ice storm and your Dad in the hospital makes for one heckuva long week. So join me, will you, in thinking of pretty, pleasant things... things like summer roses and sunset picnics and lemonade on the porch swing and sheets billowing on the line and a basket of fresh bread. With sweet butter.

There. A tiny bit better....

I'm off to the hospital. If you think of it, please pray for my Dad.

Of course I'll pray for your dad. I am glad you are well. Isn't it great that God is keeping you from all those meaningless jobs? The one He has in store for you must be incredible.

Sending thoughts and prayers for your dad. Dads are so important to daughters, more so than they ever know, I think.

I have been through what you are going through with your Dad. Stay strong and be there for him - it is a great gift you have been given to be there for him, and help him.

I know it is hard, stressful and exhausting - but hang in. God never gives us more than we can bear..

I will certainly remember your dad in my prayers. I hope he gets better and you can breathe a sigh of relief. Ailing parents can be such a scary reality. Hoping for a positive update!

Brin~ I will keep both you and your dad in my prayers. Dad: that he will make a full recovery and be blessed with greater physical fortitude after his recuperation. You: that God will continue to provide you with the stamina and hope to continue on your journey...knowing that his plan for you is far more beautiful than anything you could imagine!

Have prayed for your dad and for you and your family. I know how hard it can be to have a family member in the hospital so prayed that you will all feel peace and rest and that this will be a time of family bonding and strengthening while your Dad is unwell. ***HUGS***, peace, and love!
