The apples are nearly ready. Coincidentally, I'm hungry for cold, cold cinnamon applesauce this afternoon.

If I could be anywhere right now, I'd be in an apple orchard with my head down, working on this beautiful blanket. I definitely would not be stuck at this tediously boring job with no applesauce or yarn.

Here's to us working girls today. May there be many apple orchards and handmade blankets in our happy futures. -Brin

What lovely apples! It is cherry season here in Northwest Washington State but we had a lot of rain which has affected the cherries. Your jelly looks beautiful!!

Oh, love that crochet blanket. Love the thought of ice cold cinnamon applesauce. Curses on those tedious jobs that keep us from all these delights : )!!

Yes. It's a wish I can lend myself to. Thank you for that fantastic link. What a neat blog and so many lovely ideas. Hope that you get to make your blanket soon. Will you crochet the doilies as well?

I remember as a kid, walking out to the orchid and picking apples off the trees and feeding them to the horses and snacking on them myself. Nothing beats a fresh picked apple!
