Missing...

All a woman needs is a good bath.
-Hedy Lamarr

... and warm, fluffy socks and a cup of hot chocolate and a pillowy-soft bed. And maybe her kitty. My adventures are catching up with me and I find myself missing Freeman House and her clawfoot tub filled with foamy, floating piles of bubbles. That and the sweet kitty named Maebelline who used to hide in the clawfoot tub when it wasn't filled with foamy, floating piles of bubbles. We played peek-a-boo each morning and night, whenever we could. It was one of our many things. I miss that. I miss our things.

And I still miss you, Mae. These miles haven't driven you from my heart.

Still in Kansas. Can't wait to show you what I saw today. Just missing things and too... (yawn)... tuckered..... out...... tonight......

Sometimes God allows us life's little adventures to remind us....there's no place like home :).

I'm wishing I could...I'm wishing I would do what you're doing!
Glad that you're still posting; can't wait to see what will become of whatever it is that is happening! :-)
Blessings.

"He leadeth me"...8 yrs. ago He did a similar thing with me and my family. I refered to it as the "alluring into the wilderness place from Hosea 2"...My hubby & I and our 4 lil children(9-3yrs old)sold our house in Ca., packed everything we needed(and gave the rest away), and off we went through 9 states on a move to Kansas/Missouri. We had no home, no job, just the leading of the LORD. It was definelty a time of letting go of all the lesser lovers of this world and falling into the embrace of my Beloved Bridegroom. We ended up helping start the Int. House of Prayer in Kansas City...an incredible place of dwelling with Him in worship & prayer 24/7. Maybe the LORD will lead you to go by and visit it. Our season there was short, only 18 mos., and we ended up back home in Ca. But the journey was worth the intimacy we found with Jesus...He is leading you and I am thankful you had the faith & courage to follow. Only good will come of it! Closer to Thee<><

Aren't the wide open plains & sky of Kansas breathtaking?

I'd be missing that tub too, and Freeman House of course, but you will return and fill it with even more tales!
