@Susan- as Christians, we're taught in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible that the spirit of God has taken the form a dove before in history (at Jesus' baptism, etc.). The presence of the Holy Spirit is something we're promised and count on. The fact that a dove has found me at two houses now is a powerful show, to me, of the Spirit of God that lives within me, comforts me, convicts me, and calls me to place of deeper love and adoration for God. While some Christians would be kinda offended by the pagan reference you listed, I think I understand the place you're coming from. Please know I pray for you - and everyone who reads! - often....
Hi Brin, Thanks for the extra biblical Dove reference - I guess to me God is God, God is the trees, the babbling brook, the flowers, the weeds, the white dove, the down and out & even the despicable, God is every thing.
Oh I am so glad that you explained. I was taking it all wrong as in that this was a discouraging time for you. Phew! I prefer moving from glory to glory. :D
Hi! I'm Brin. My husband Matthew and I live in the Texas piney woods. Join me as we farm, keep bees, cook, knit, and live one beautiful and messy, thrilling life!

This quote always speaks to me, and might mean something to you right now too...
