More on cast iron repair soon. For now I'm popping in to say howdy. Hope you're well and had a good hair day. And to all you fancy-pants folks who read your blogs through readers, I wanted to personally inform you that I updated my banner and added a nifty sidebar feature with a few of my favorite travel adventures.

Hi Brin,
One of your "fancy pants" readers clicking on a few extra spots to show up live on your blog! Like that sweetheart Shelley above, I'll look forward to reading thru your sidebar adventures...many of them ring a memory bell as I've been delightfully following your blog for some time. BTW, wonderful new banner as well! xo sue
Your photo on this post caught my eye as my Mom and Mother-in-law caught this very same shot when riding this train somewhere out West...they would remember, I forget.
Gorgeous.

Love your new feature! I'm looking forward to looking through your archives.
I had not been reading for some of these adventures and will not have to look back at some of them. And, yes, I love the header, but I'm still waiting for aprons that will cover your shirt! Will you please, please, please make some full ones??? I'll be your best friend!
