Pink for the Weekend

I love pretty pink things.

Sick. Sure enough. Spent the past two nights sleeping in front of my parents' wood stove and drinking steaming things and watching cheezy Christmas movies and laughing with my brothers and sister and cuddling with soft puppy Millie. Felt awful, but the time with my family was priceless.

But now back to pretty pink things. This weekend I'm stocking the Freeman House Shop with Christmas aprons, like the pink snowflake cutie above. I'm also elbow-deep in other pink delights. In no particular order:

These Pink Snowflakes
These Pink Cocoa Cups
These Pink Marshmallows

Everyone needs a pretty pink weekend every now and then, huh? -Brin

  2. Enjoy your pink weekend and I hope that you are feeling in the pink by then, too. I love your snowflake apron!

(I'm so deep in aprons that I may just spend the night sleeping on my stack.)

  3. Oh, Brin!

I'm so sorry to hear that you were sick -- but what a wonderful remedy God had planned for you!
Precious time with your mom, dad, brothers, and sister.... You are more blessed than you probably know!!!

Did you get snow? We were promised snow, but by the time it made it here...... just rain....

Well, you continue to get better, Miss Brin!

    Many Blessings and Merry Christmas,
    Julie

  4. I'm sorry to hear you're sick.
I used to spend every winter fighting off one thing or another. You just end up feeling exausted all the time don't you?
I now get the flu shot without fail, wash my hands A LOT, and when I feel something coming on I do everything possible to just take a day to sleep.
It seems to work for me.
I'm praying you'll feel better soon.
And I think I'm going to have to make something pink next week. It looks like fun! :)

  8. Seriously pink is my fave colour too, but I do have to be a bit ruthless...I think I faced up to my addiction when I bought a PS2 game console purely because it was pink...I mean I had no desire to get a game console til then.....
