Oh, Spring!
I want to go out and feel you....
-Emily Carr
It couldn't get more beautiful than here. You should hear the leafy breeze and feel the sunshine on your shoulders and smell these pillowy flowers. I'm about to tear myself away for a moment to go inside to bake a blueberry tart. The kitchen door's open. Consider yourself invited.
Brin, I stumbled upon your lovely blog quite by good fortune, I believe. Your post for today is incredibly delicious looking...the description of your surroundings placed me right there with you..glass of tea in hand...waiting on the tart to come from the oven... :) Dee Dee
ReplyDeleteAre you sharing your blueberry tart recipe? Blueberry is my very favorite berry.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that the days are beautiful there and that you have time for quiet reflection and simple pursuits.
Oh, boy! Time to make some tea. Thank you for the invite!

Oh my gosh what I wouldn't do to be there now. We are just experiencing a touch of spring here in Southern Ontario, Canada and it can't come soon enough. It has been a long, dark and difficult winter. Your picture just lifts my spirits. The lushness of the greenery in the background and explosion of colour in the flowers, big sigh. And is that your famous sweet tea???? Thanks for sharing,it made my day. Lisa
ReplyDeleteOoooh, I will be right over. Seriously wish I could. The photos are just gorgeous, Brin. Makes me want to put on an apron, help roll out the tart and sip sweet tea under the canopy of trees.
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your gift of words and photos. What a treat today's post was! :o)
